ONYX High Performance Roundslings
The ONYX sling from Slingmax is a lightweight, high-performance roundsling with a core made from 100% HMPE fiber. Designed to elevate safety, boost productivity, and streamline rigging operations, the ONYX sling is ideal for applications where weight, strength, and durability are critical.
Weighing half as much as polyester roundslings of equal capacity and less than 10% the weight of comparable multi-part wire rope slings, the ONYX sling delivers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio without compromising performance. This makes it easier to handle, faster to rig, and safer for crews—especially in complex or repetitive lifting environments.
Protected by a double-layered high quality polyester outer jacket—black on the outside and red on the inside for easy visual damage inspection—the ONYX sling is built to resist abrasion, chemicals, and wear in demanding environments. This rugged jacket construction helps maintain performance under extreme job-site conditions.

Precision Fabrication of Synthetic Slings
Every lift is critical, and precision is built into every Onyx Sling. Slings can be made with tolerances as tight as +/- 1” and you can be rest assured that slings will match when constructed in sets. Onyx slings have less than 1% elongation at their rated capacity, ensuring precise control over tight tolerances.
